The Doomsday Duo’s story began and ended at a power plant. The mother was a world-renowned scientist that after seeing the harmful effects of radiation had become obsessed with doomsday prepping. She even made her son carry a gas mask in his backpack to school. Her obsession and daily exposure to toxic chemicals drove her mad, so she decided to end the world herself. Using her position at the power plant, she set her plan in motion and took off early to pick up her son so they could experience the beginning of the end together. With her beloved son next to her, she felt every second of the blast that decimated her hometown. She felt nothing but relief when she took her gas mask off and felt the soothing chemicals ooze in a bright green burst from her face.
